In short. RV Camping Canada is an independent guide to RVing in Canada: route guides, plain-English rules, and a directory of rental, dealer, storage, repair, and insurance businesses.
What this site is
Planning an RV trip in Canada means piecing together border rules, park passes, ferry fares, propane limits, and campground booking systems from a dozen places. This site puts the practical answers in one place, written for people who are about to hit the road.
Who it is for
- Canadians planning their own trips
- American and international visitors bringing an RV into Canada
- First-time renters and buyers deciding what to do
- Businesses that serve RVers and want to be found
How we research and write
- Official sources first. We start with government agencies, park authorities, and the operators themselves, and link to them at the bottom of every article.
- Dates on everything. Each page shows when it was last updated and when it is due for its next review, because rules and fees change.
- Facts and judgment kept apart. We say what official sources require and, separately, what we suggest you do.
- Honest about disagreement. When sources conflict, for example on driving with propane on, we say so instead of picking a side quietly.
Corrections
If something is out of date or wrong, tell us. Use the contact form and choose "Correction to an article", or email info@rvcampingcanada.ca. We check it against the official source, update the page, and change its date.
How the site is funded
This site is independent. If we ever accept sponsored placements or add paid links, we will label them clearly and update this page, and sponsored directory listings will carry a "Sponsored" badge. Payment will not change what our guides say.
What we are not
We are not a government agency, and we are not lawyers, insurance advisors, or financial advisors. Our pages are general information. Before you travel, confirm the details that matter with the official source linked on each page.
