Fishing in Newfoundland and Labrador by RV

Pick the water first, then the campground. 3 fishing regions are covered, from Western Newfoundland and Labrador Straits to Avalon and Eastern Newfoundland.

Regulation links last checked October 2026.

In short. Newfoundland and Labrador's rivers are managed for Atlantic salmon and trout, and Fisheries and Oceans Canada publishes a list of scheduled salmon rivers. We map the island by river and show the RV campgrounds near each one.

Rules change. Seasons, closures and limits change often and can change mid-season. We link to the official pages rather than repeat them, so check them before every trip.
