In short. Saskatchewan fishing is walleye, pike and perch country, from the Qu'Appelle valley lakes and Lake Diefenbaker to the northern lakes. We map it by fishing area and show the RV campgrounds near each one.
Rules change. Seasons, closures and limits change often and can change mid-season. We link to the official pages rather than repeat them, so check them before every trip.
Licences and rules
- Fresh water: angling is managed by the Province of Saskatchewan. See Saskatchewan angling, how to buy an angling licence and the angling regulations summary and Anglers Guide.
- Park waters: national and provincial park waters can have extra rules, so check the park's own page before you plan around one.
- Moving boats and gear: clean, drain and dry boats and gear between waters to stop invasive species.
